Set up includes: new strings, setting the action, regulating the neck and setting the intonation. Other common repairs include: custom fitting new nuts, bridges, saddles and tuning machines. Expert bodywork is performed on loose bracing and open seams.

Violins, Violas and Cellos

Carol Vella, our String Technician has been repairing stringed instruments for over 20 years. Recently she added to her expertise "rehairing bows".

Most common repairs include bridge work, sound posts, resetting necks, seam and crack gluing and pegwork.
